Equine Health & Emergency First Aid

Learn how to provide emergency treatment until your vet arrives, conditioning your horse to accept treatment, taking proper vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse, sources of pain and so much more!

Offered as a one day course or as a 2-part hybrid.
In the hybrid course you get to do Part 1 from the comfort of your home on Zoom - even in your jammies! Part 2 will be at the host farm to wrap up theory and then put what you've learned to practical use with horses! 

Advanced Equine First Aid*

Plan, prepare, react to any emergency! Join us for a one-day highly advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in more extreme situations!

This course covers everything from assessing the condition of a horse, trapped horses, poison, burns, bites, hypo/hyperthermia, tie ups, fractures, sucking chest wounds and more. It prepares the student to handle the most serious injuries

Advanced Equine First Aid - Wilderness Edition*

A wilderness version of the Advanced course, this one-day, highly advanced equine emergency first aid training class is for the adventurous outdoor rider.

Plan, prepare, react to any emergency! Join us for a one-day highly advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in more extreme situations out on the trail or in wilderness situations!
